Rehab Counseling with Family Involvement

Family Involvement

Recognize the Signs

Concerned About a Loved One?

If you are concerned about a loved one, it’s important to get them the help they need as soon as you start noticing signs of a drug or alcohol problem. Often times, it can be difficult to realize and accept that someone so close to you has a problem with drugs or alcohol. If you’re struggling with identifying whether or not someone has an addiction, there are a number of signs that you can keep an eye out for in order to help you reach a conclusion.

Clarity Way can help you discover what signs to look for and what questions you should ask yourself in order to determine if your friend or family member needs professional help. Our treatment programs encourage support from loved ones so that no one has to go through the healing process alone.

Family Support

Healing Process

Clarity Way believes family involvement during treatment is essential for a client's life-lasting success. As such, our treatment team keeps family members appraised of their loved one's condition and treatment decisions. In addition, family members are invited to participate in the therapy process so loved ones can share issues and feelings in a safe environment. Finally, families actively participate in the client's aftercare program, which strongly increases the likelihood of continued sobriety.

Clarity Way offers childcare as well as space for children to interact with family members recovering from addiction. Our approach includes regular phone calls, on-site sessions, family conferences and parallel treatment so that members are trained to identify the signs of impending relapse. Clarity Way doesn't just treat the addiction; we treat the whole person, so that they may successfully reengage with their lives.

Gazebo Intervention

Interventions

Families who are struggling to convince a loved one to accept treatment often turn to the staged intervention as a last-ditch attempt. For these families, Clarity Way highly recommends carefully selecting an interventionist who is a good fit for those involved. Often recovering addicts credit the intervention as the watershed moment that saved their life, but unless handled properly, an intervention may not move the addict to seek treatment.

Clarity Way helps families select an appropriate interventionist, and interventions usually last two days. Families receive intervention education on the first day, including learning what behavior is productive and what isn't, as well as the details behind the intervention itself. The intervention itself takes place on the second day, with family and close friends in attendance. Clarity Way stands ready to help families select a professional, caring interventionist who will address your family's needs.
