Green Policies and Initiatives
Clarity Way is located on six beautiful and secluded scenic acres in the southern Pennsylvania countryside. To help maintain the beauty of our environment and the environment as a whole, we've put measures in place to reduce our carbon footprint on the world. From washing linens only in cold water to utilizing eco-friendly cleaning products, we've looked at all aspects of our substance abuse treatment facility to make it as green as possible.
Our staff makes request of clients to join us in pursuit of decreasing our negative environmental impact. Cards are placed in client rooms encouraging clients to re-use towels for more than one shower by hanging them to signal to staff they are being re-used. We also wash all towels, sheets and other linens only in cold water through energy efficient washing machines to reduce energy use. Our cleaning products are all eco-friendly and we utilize as much bio-degradable material as possible.
Clients are also encouraged to recycle and we have bins available for use. Recycling is an important way to benefit the environment and we're proud to say that we participate in this initiative, as do most of our clients. We believe in a responsibility to our environment so that it can be enjoyed by us and the generations that come after us. Though not a requirement, we encourage clients to participate while in treatment and hopefully continue this approach when they return home.
