Therapeutic Treatment Addiction Recovery and Drug Rehab, Including Art and Music Therapy
Therapeutic Programs
By adding therapeutic treatments to the recovery process, such as art therapy, a drug rehab treatment plan is created and put into practice by the treatment team. The various therapies, including music therapy, used in our drug rehab help us create the individualized recovery programs for our clients. Therapeutic treatments are a component of The Clarity Way Method as envisioned by the founders, Justin & Robin Daniels.
14, 30, 60, 90 Day Custom In-Patient Treatments
The average length of stay is 30 days at our inpatient drug and alcohol rehab center, though clients can elect to stay longer if necessary. Renewal stays are also an option and are designed for clients who have already been through a rehabilitation program. Renewal stays vary in duration and program, allowing clients to refresh their commitment to living a sober and healthy lifestyle.
Therapies We Offer
Psychotherapy
Clarity Way employs different methods and types of psychotherapy to help clients get to the root of their issues. During these sessions, clients work on their past while creating a plan for their future. They are also taught new behaviors to help deal with events that trigger relapse. Clarity Way is proud to offer different addiction recovery treatment programs tailored to individuals.
Drug Rehab Using Art Therapy
Incorporating Art therapy into our drug rehab program gives our clients the opportunity to utilize art materials in order to explore issues, stressors and emotions that have played a part in their addiction. Art therapy can be healing through the actual process of art-making, as well as through exploring the image or product made during the session with an art therapist.
At Clarity Way, the entire art therapy spectrum is utilized to find a form of art therapy that can be both beneficial and comfortable for the client. A large part of an art therapist's role is to assist the clients in choosing which modality to utilize that will best achieve their goals and keep the process from being too intimidating or frustrating. One of the continuous goals this therapeutic form of drug rehab is to have each client participate in art therapy on some level; all clients that participate in art therapy benefit in some form. Art therapy does not require the client to have any specific art skills or talents at all. Expression occurs at any level, and an art therapist is responsible to help the client in choosing materials and themes that are best suited for recovery and growth.
Art therapy is a beneficial component of the drug rehab treatment program at Clarity Way due to its ability to explore both the emotions as well as the underlying issues which likely fueled clients' experiences with addiction. By incorporating art therapy in our drug rehab program, clients are able to reflect on certain issues (i.e. trauma, family-of-origin), because art can illicit emotions and often discloses feelings that may not arise in more conventional types of therapy or that the client may not be able to verbally express. Through identified materials and directives, clients have an opportunity to explore their addiction, the impact it's had on their life as well as their journey towards healing and recovery. By the end of each client's treatment stay at Clarity Way, clients will have a portfolio of artwork documenting in tangible and visual formats the progress that each has experienced throughout the journey of healing from addiction to recovery.
Drug Rehab Using Music Therapy
Music is by its nature is a means of self-expression, socializing activity, a format through introspection, and an appropriate healthy outlet for a person. Specific music therapy interventions include songwriting, music improvisation, lyric analysis and relaxation to music techniques. The music therapist is trained in all of these techniques and will work with a person's strengths and musical comfort to assess which techniques will be most beneficial for each person. In drug rehab sessions using music therapy, the therapist utilizes both live music as performed by the therapist and or the client and recorded music that can be listened to and interacted with a therapeutic setting. Music is utilized because it may be easier for some people to process things musically when verbal processing is more difficult. Incorporating music therapy into our drug rehab program gives our clients a musical vehicle that provides a safe container for the client where it is non-judgmental and provides support for the client.

Chemical dependency education is vital to the recovery process so that the client not only understands causes and reasons for the addictive behaviors but also understands the science of addiction. Addiction Counselors educate the client to understand the neurological process of addiction and how if effects the brain.
Transition Care
Our innovative Transition Care sets Clarity Way apart from other rehab centers. The important work that is achieved during the stay is only effective if proper strategies and tools are provided to carry that information into the real world. The last week of treatment is primarily devoted to Transition Care. Our priority is to achieve a successful return to family and business. We achieve these goals by utilizing both a transition and business coach.
Business Coach
A Business Coach works with each client to develop a plan for transitioning back into the business world. The coach evaluates current business methods to unveil areas that may cause issues interfering with recovery. The Business Coach is available throughout the stay to help clients with business issues that arise.
Transition Coach
A Transition Coach is someone who has experienced recovery. They provide firsthand knowledge of feelings and situations that may arise after leaving Clarity Way so that the client can be prepared. Helpful tools and suggestions are discussed to use during business or social situations that could lead to relapse behavior. The coach also helps the client be prepared for family issues that can arise upon returning home, and provides the client with a plan to reunite the entire family.
Aftercare Program
Our extensive Aftercare Program is included with your treatment plan. Each member of the Therapy Team provides the client with a written therapy summary. Our Aftercare staff supplies the client with detailed therapy options located in their hometown, so that the recovery process continues. Two follow up sessions with a therapist via phone are conducted during the first month of returning home. Our Aftercare staff calls each week during the first month. After the first month, monthly follow up calls are conducted for the first year. We want to know how the client is doing. We can help with issues that arise. “Tune up” weeks and weekends are available. We hold an annual reunion so that clients can network with other graduates. Clarity Way’s discreet mailing/email list can alert you to upcoming events.
Clients are encouraged to keep in touch with their house mates. They are a great support system. Who better to lend a supportive ear than someone with whom you shared recovery time? Conference call group meetings can be set up before everyone leaves so you can continue to support each other. Clients are also encouraged to utilize the Clarity Way facebook page in order to keep in contact and the Clarity Way blog to stay informed.
